This installation of undulating inflated nylon is created to resemble a cloudlike atmosphere. Meandering passages between folds offer the viewer a calm escape with no set destination. Intricately constructed, the ‘clouds’ swell and hum by means of an elaborate pulley system and hidden fan.
The cloud-like walls metaphorically illustrate the variable, transformative and tactile (but also sometimes fictitious) realities of memory. The viewer is momentary distracted from the linear and structured environment of the outside world into an imaginary world of comfort and diversion.
